THE DEATH OF QUEER (2017)
A Performance about the limits of queer politics and the risk of assimilation of identity policies from mainstream culture and institutions, as well as the mainstreamisation of queer scenes. Five years after having been involved with queer arts, politics and the relationship between the two, the family around FYTA and FYTINI pays a farewell to queer, in a performance that in hind sight feels like an opening act for the discussions that were to follow amongst members of the queer scene later. Part of the third installment of Sound Acts 3 at the Athens Festival.
