AIROSSINI (2013)

AiRossini: Opéra oligarchique zu einer Flughafeneröffnung was a post-modern take on Rossini's Il viaggio a Reims by my favourite opera group, the Beggars Operas, presented in collaboration with Neuköllner Oper in Berlin. Bringing the original libretto to the present, the opera presents 5 oligarchs trapped in Berlin's (still) non-working airport, Willy Brandt. I designed and curated the content of the hacked airport screens.
